Queensland Rail Network Induction
Mandatory for all crew before site entry. Contact QR Network Access on 13 16 17 to book. Induction takes approx 4 hours. Valid for 3 years. Must carry card on site at all times.
Safe Approach Distance — Rail
Minimum safe approach distance from live rail corridor: 3m uncontrolled, 1.5m with QR-approved safeworking. No work to commence within these distances without written QR authority.
High Visibility Clothing — Rail Standard
Class 3 hi-vis vest or jacket required within rail corridor. Standard construction hi-vis is not sufficient. QR-compliant hi-vis must be worn by all personnel at all times on site.
NDT Equipment Safety
Ultrasonic thickness gauge in use. Equipment produces no ionising radiation but generates EMF. Do not allow personnel with pacemakers to operate equipment or enter active scan zones. See crew medical notes.
CBD Site Access & Traffic Management
Site is adjacent to public footpath. Traffic Management Plan lodged with Brisbane City Council ref: BCC-2244. Barriers and signage to be maintained throughout works. No equipment to block pedestrian access.
